Noah Lukeman is a successful literary agent, with plenty of experience rejecting manuscripts. In The First Five Pages he shares that experience with the reader, giving good advice about how a manuscript can be improved in the revision process to make it more likely to be accepted. If you're thinking of doing your own editing, read this first.
Looking for an editor? You're at the right place. Lately, though, I've been turning into a Jane-of-all trades... besides editing, I'm also kept pretty busy with ghostwriting (copywriting), web-design, and something I'll call managing web presence. By that I mean optimizing facebook, squidoo, blogs, etc. for a unified and attractive online identity.
One of these days I'll find time to update this site with lots of information about those things, but not today. Today, I'm busy editing manuscripts, keeping clients happy, and working on my own book about beating fibromyalgia.
If you'd like to talk about any of those things, I'd like to talk to you. Drop me a line, at editor@angelaharms.com.
Most of my articles have moved over to Writers' Editing Workshop and more will be moving there soon.
My small press is at Cornucopia Press
My blogging happens mostly at Life. Love. Food.
